When you hire an architecture and interior photographer to capture your project, it is important to understand the role of post-production in the image creation process. A photographer might spend anywhere from 30 minutes to a full day on a single image to create a unique atmosphere that is consistent with the space. Why I Avoid Unnatural HDR
A well-known process is HDR (High Dynamic Range), which blends multiple exposures. However, this can sometimes give a surreal or “plastic” effect to the image, which doesn’t always suit architecture and interior photography where a realistic rendering is preferred. This is why some photographers, myself included, choose to focus on more subtle, manual, and natural post-production methods.
